From its conception to the present, Anglin Rea Cahalane & Pieper, P.A. has been devoted to handling personal injury cases on behalf of the injured party. The firm now operates under the direction of Patrick H. Cahalane, Esq. Mr. Cahalane has successfully handled thousands of cases over the years. He has obtained multiple million dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients. He has successfully litigated numerous complex cases against large corporations and businesses.

Mr. Cahalane has been licensed since 1992 and joined the firm in 2001. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at a litigation firm specializing in the defense of personal injury matters. With almost ten years of defending personal injury claims on behalf of the insurance industry, Mr. Cahalane brings a specialized knowledge to the pursuit of personal injury claims on behalf of the injured party.Mr. Cahalane is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.Certified civil trial attorney is a designation granted by the New Jersey Supreme Court to attorneys who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in civil trial practice. The Supreme Court, through its Board on Attorney Certification, designates only those lawyers who apply for certification and who are able to meet the standards set by the board and approved by the court. Only 2% of all attorneys in the state of NJ are certified Civil Trial Attorneys

Since 2001, Mr. Cahalane has obtained numerous 7 figure settlements and verdicts. He has sat as a court appointed arbitrator in numerous counties throughout the state and presently sits as a court appointed mediator in Middlesex County. Mr. Cahalane obtained a three million dollar verdict which was listed in the New Jersey Law Journal as one of the "Top Twenty" personal injury awards in New Jersey in 2001.

Kathryn Isaacs Rea, Esq.


In 1989, Kathryn Isaacs Rea joined the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rea was a law clerk to the Honorable Herman L. Breitkopf. Ms. Rea heads the Workers Compensation department and works exclusively on claims on behalf of injured employees. Ms. Rea has successfully tried numerous cases in workers compensation court and is a recognized specialist in the field of workers compensation law.

James J. Pieper, Esq.


James J. Pieper earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Rutgers University School of Law, along with an American Jurisprudence award for achieving the highest ranking in Trial Advocacy, and was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1994. Since that time, Jim has been a civil litigation trial attorney, handling cases throughout New Jersey. During his professional career, Jim has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants, giving him decades of knowledge and experience as to how insurance companies evaluate and defend cases, and giving an advantage to his current clients when negotiating with insurance representatives and formulating trial strategies to defeat defense attorney tactics.

His practice consists of a wide range of matters, including those involving personal injuries, Workers Compensation benefits, Personal Injury Protection benefits and property damage. He has been a Barrister of the American Inn of Court for New Jersey Workers Compensation and continues to maintain an active trial practice, regularly litigating cases throughout New Jersey. He is married and has two children.
